THE CHALLENGE
We are looking for startups and scaleups with digital solutions that want to collaborate with Deutsche Bahn to improve customer experience and drive sustainability at train stations. We are looking for the following solutions:
Customer Stay
Solutions to offer a pleasant layover for customers, ranging from unique, sustainable lighting concepts, new designs for waiting areas and microspaces, as well as pop-up store concepts.
Wayfinding systems
Solutions to help customers find their way around in complex train stations. For example, routing systems, simple (multilingual) sign postings or other digital wayfinding systems.
Intermodal mobility
Solutions to simplify interconnected mobility for first and last mile travel, including digital solutions for bicycle parking and new e-mobility (sharing) services.
Sustainability
Solutions to drive sustainability in and around train stations such as waste management and reduction tools.

3 month (part-time) program with live-testing within DB environment (to achieve a PoC)

Mentoring with DB to level management and external experts
Coaching sessions

You should
Have an MVP in place and further
Occasionally be available in Berlin to work on the PoC with Deutsche Bahn

APPLICATION DEADLINE
The deadline for applications is August 4th at midnight (UTC+2).
ANNOUNCEMENT OF SELECTED STARTUPS
The startups selected for the pitch event will be announced on August 23rd.
PITCH DAY
Selected startups will be invited to pitch their solution and potential collaboration with Deutsche Bahn on September 4th, in Berlin.
COLLABORATION PROGRAM
Work in a 3-month program with Deutsche Bahn: live-testing of your solution to achieve a PoC and expert coaching by Deutsche Bahn professionals.
