THE CHALLENGE
At DermaHaven innovation and learning go hand in hand. With the *TrackCura project, DermaHaven aims to develop a closed feedback loop and subsequent learning & development model for dermatology. Subsequently, various other disciplines can be supported in a similar way. Through feedback and training, the quality of the care chain increases, resulting in more trust in the first line which ultimately leads to increased quality of care in the total chain. This leads to a faster and better quality of care and life of the client and sensible and economical care. The TrackCura project fits well with the goal of valorization of Erasmus MC care innovations. In addition, TrackCura can also be used for other departments in the future.

Within this Challenge, DermaHaven and Erasmus MC are looking for startups with solutions to analyse data regarding dermatological treatment in the family practice, also called the first line medicine. Based on this data, the goal is to provide the GP insights in their clinical performance, and consequently educate them to improve.

Platforms that focus on connection, engagement and e-learning.
Data analysis tools for the backend of the platform
Solutions in the field of Big Data, Artificial intelligence and Machine learning as well as imaging equipment tools, and diagnoses tooling to implement in the platform. All should be customized to fit the project.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
Pilot contract to test your solution within DermaHaven and Erasmus MC
Access to the regional network of the South West of the Netherlands, which represents the highest population density of The Netherlands, with a total of 3.5 million inhabitants.
Media exposure
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
Have a working prototype or demonstrator
Be able to launch a finished product or service within the next 6 months
Be able to do a pilot project in the Netherlands
Be able to implement the solution in a hospital setting with all its limitations and requirements
THE HEALTH INNOVATION CHALLENGE
The Health Innovation Challenge (HIC) is an initiative of the Rotterdam Municipality to develop Rotterdam as the national hotspot for healthcare innovation. Startups, SMEs and healthcare institutions are challenged to collaboratively find solutions to health challenges. The most innovative and promoting startups will start a pilot with either DermaHaven and Erasmus Medical Center, Sportbedrijf Rotterdam, Enver or Kinderplein Medical Center. HIC is a collaboration between the Municipality of Rotterdam, Get in the Ring and the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
The deadline for applications is October 24th.
ANNOUNCEMENT SEELECTED STARTUPS
The announcement of the selected startups will be done in the first week of November.
HEALTH INNOVATION DAY
Selected startups wil be invited for one-on-one business meetings on the 15th of November in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
PILOT PHASE
The most relevant startup(s) will enter into the pilot phase from December onwards.
