As part of the HighTechXL Impact Summit, Get in the Ring, ABN AMRO and HighTechXL are looking for innovative startups with solutions to develop the bank of the future. This is your opportunity to start a pilot project with one of the largest banks in The Netherlands and scale up your business!

 

As a joint ABN AMRO and HighTechXL initiative, Econic is an open innovation hub that accelerates innovative solutions and ideas coming from inside and outside the bank, disrupting the traditional world of banking. It is here that the best of the startup and banking worlds meet to create exciting new possibilities.

THE CHALLENGE

 

We are looking for both early- and later stage startups with solutions that contribute to the future of Banking, Banking as a Platform or Open Banking. This includes solutions in payments, trading, debt solutions, savings & investment solutions, capital market solutions, clearing, KYC, risk management, asset management, wealth management and insurance.

What's in it for you

  • Pilot with ABN AMRO

  • Spot in the 3-month corporate-guided acceleration program (early stage startups only)

  • Spend two full days of 1-on-1 sessions with industry experts in your field to explore business opportunities and get industry insights.

Additional criteria

  • Have a working prototype or demonstrator

  • Be able to launch a finished product or service within the next year

  • Have your leadership team present at the event July 8th-12th

The HighTechXL Accelerator program is designed to fast-track an early-stage startup to market launch, while also preparing them to become investor-ready. It covers the phase from prototype to market. The format provides structured access to finance, facilities, and know-how. Startups get a strong base for growth through our a tightly-knit community of mentors, partners and entrepreneurs.

  • Stride.ai – Applies AI and Natural Language Processing, to automate enterprise processes.e
  • Finance Navigator – An online CFO for startups.

MULTIPLE PILOT CONTRACTS CLOSED WITH ABN AMRO

Akoni

Akoni is one of the startup solutions that was offered a pilot contract by ABN. The company matches products to customers, using market data and industry integrations and enables seamless on-boarding, ease of use and portability of deposits, through technology and hub banking arrangements. Akoni builds decisions based on client and market analytics and a matching algorithm to create the right bespoke portfolio of products for corporate customers.
