The microbiome is an ecosystem of trillions of microbes — some dangerous and some beneficial — living within the body. For the most part, they quietly help digest food, absorb nutrients, and fight off dangerous pathogens. Altering and improving the microbiome can be done through all kinds of nutritional products. We are looking for solutions in several areas:
Nutritional concepts that can be connected to existing ingredients to open up new markets.
New concepts and applications
New concepts and applications that (a) improve overall health and quality of life and/or (b) prevent and treat specific diseases.
Innovative ways in collecting data on the microbiome.
Measuring consumer insights and behavior linked to the microbiome.
Scale(able) ingredient production processes for these kind of solutions.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
have a working prototype or demonstrator;
be able to launch a finished product within the next 12 months.
The deadline for applications is December 20th.
