Get in the Ring joins forces with the Dutch EdTech team for the third instalment of the EdTech validation lab programme. We’re looking for innovative EdTech startups ready to scale and improve the education system in The Netherlands. 

 

Education systems everywhere are changing. EdTech is one of the fastest-growing industries with data-rich educational platforms getting adopted at increasing rates, benefiting from a huge growth in investments. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced academic institutes to accelerate their EdTech adoption.

 

Are you a startup with a brilliant EdTech solution all educational institutions should know about? Are you ready to scale your product? Then we might be looking for you!

 

The EdTech programme offers startups from all over Europe the chance to validate their product with the possibility of immediately launching it in the Dutch educational industry. 

 

The EdTech team is part of the four-year Acceleration Plan Educational Innovation with IT. 39 universities and universities of applied sciences in The Netherlands have joined forces, including Leiden University, TU Delft, Wageningen University & Research, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, and Inholland University of Applied Sciences. Their goal is to improve education and make it more flexible, by using all benefits digitalisation offers education and research.

THE CHALLENGE

To stay ahead of the curve, educational institutions need access to innovative technologies, so they can ensure their students and staff are ready for the next generation of education. We are looking for EdTech solutions in the following areas:

Solutions for vocational education

Solutions for higher education

Solutions for corporate learning

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • A pilot opportunity with leading universities such as TU Delft, Leiden University, Wageningen University&Research, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, and Inholland University of Applied Sciences

  • Expert coaching from 'the Dutch Acceleration Plan' network, including coaches from SURF and participating institutions

  • Mentoring from experienced EdTech entrepreneurs

  • Masterclasses and pitch opportunities at EdTech investors

  • Access to 'the Dutch Acceleration Plan’s' leading network of over 100 universities and universities of applied sciences

  • A guided, online customised programme to scale your EdTech venture, consisting of 40% coaching, training, and workshops, and 60% networking

Meet the program mentors

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA

You should

  • have a demonstrator or prototype

  • be willing to potentially pilot with Universities in the Netherlands

  • have a product that functions within GDPR and Dutch privacy guidelines
