Get in the Ring and Centraal Beheer Achmea are looking for solutions in and around the home that support customers and also people who are not a customer of Centraal Beheer to live easier and more comfortable lives. The goal is to provide millennials and dynamic families with busy lives convenience. For example by providing easy to use solutions that buy them more free time, make administration easier, or provide them more transparent information for decision making. In doing so Centraal Beheer allows its customers to enjoy their homes and spend more time with their loved ones.

 

​Centraal Beheer is one of the brands of Achmea. Achmea is a large insurance company that provides a wide range of financial services and products. Their brands serve about 10 million people with Health, Life and Non-life insurances. Centraal Beheer works directly with consumers and businesses, providing them mostly damage insurances. However, CentraaL Beheer has the ambition to become the most customer centric service provider. For that they have and are developing new services or non-insurance products. One example is de Klushulp, that has been developed together with startup Zoofy in 5 months and is launched in September 2018.

 

Millenials are currently the biggest group on the labour market, and compared to their older generations, have often dynamic families with both spouses working, often flexible. This generation cares about customer service and easy to use tools. In unexpected circumstances, they expect their service provider to act quickly and swiftly, so that time can be spend on family and social activities. Rather than solving issues in and around their homes themselves, they prefer a trusted organization, taking care of the hassle and providing them with the right information at the right time.

THE CHALLENGE

We are looking for startups and scaleups with solutions that support millennials, starting families, youngster, and people just attending the labour market in their administration and planning and in keeping up with all chores related to housing and comfortable living. Solutions should provide convenience, transparent information, be easy to use or take time of the hand of the consumer. In essence solutions should be focus on solving a real problem and be overarching, thereby having an impact on an entire customer journey, not just a small add-on within a process. We are looking for the following solution directions:

Digital household solutions and platforms

Solutions that make household chores easier such as: AI assistants arounds the house, platforms to hire people to take care of house duties, digital home inventory platforms or lease models for big appliances.

Neighborhood solutions

Platforms to connect neighborhoods and facilitate more comfortable living for customers by for example sharing of electrical charging points and waste management. As well as community platforms to provide safety, services like babysitting, or peer-to-peer lending.

Buy, sell and moving platforms

Solutions that create a more transparent housing market. Examples include: bidding systems for the housing market, moving platforms or platforms related to Homeowners Associations.

Renovation and Maintenance tools

Solutions that help customer plan renovation or maintenance jobs, connect them to the right people, and help them in the execution. Examples include: spatial or smart improvement tools to suggest construction and energy savings, on demand home services to connect with professionals for home maintenance.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Opportunity to land a pilot contract to test your solution with Centraal Beheer.

  • If the pilot succeeds, the opportunity for a long term relationship with Centraal Beheer. Developing together the proposition further to be more valuable to more customers.

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA

  • Have a working prototype or further.

  • Be able to launch a finished product or service in 3 months.

  • Be located in the Netherlands.
