What is the Global Meetup?

The Global Meetup is the final of the Global Startup Competition Get in the Ring. Each season we gather the best startups at the grandest showcase of unconventional solutions for the Global Meetup. Founders from all corners of the world come together, make business deals with corporates and investors and battle for the title of Global Winner at the Global Final. For this year’s edition we are bringing the world home to the city where Get in the Ring was born – The Hague, Netherlands.

Exciting 3-day program

Founder Dinner

Get to know the startup founders joining the Global Meetup, while enjoying typical Dutch snack or drink.

Startups with impactful solutions within water, agritech, food, energy & chemicals, manufacturing & construction, logistics & smart cities, fintech and healthtech are coming from all corners of the world.

Dealmaking Day & Global Meetup Dinner

1-on-1 dealmaking meetings between impactful startup founders and partners with investment, corporate or innovation ecosystem background.

In the evening, a group of 100 founders and 100 industry experts, part of the Global Meetup, are joining a celebratory networking dinner in the Hague, where the finalists that will get in the ring will be announced.

ImpactFest & Global Final

Take part in Europe's largest impact festival and the Global Final of Get in the Ring. Be inspired by discussions on topics such as Food Transition, Circular Economy, Energy Transition and Climate Adaptation.

In the evening, the final four startups will fight for the title of Global Winner in front of hundreds of investors, corporates and governments.

Previous Global Meetups

Curious how a virtual Global Meetup looks like?

During the global Covid-19 pandemic we hosted an online meetup in 2021 with founders and investors from all over the world who met virtually in over 100 virtual dealmaking meetings in four thematic tracks.

The show must go on – the legendary Global Final Battles was recorded with the Ringmaster in a teater with the startup finalists and champion jury calling in from their home office. The result? Four battle videos and four global winners!

Check out how it was done and who was there here:
