THE CHALLENGE

We are looking for startups and scaleups that want to collaborate with Deutsche Bahn to make their maintenance process future proof, by using data analysis tools and implementing new technologies. We are looking for solutions in the following areas:

Data Analytics & Process Mining

Solutions using prediction tools to interpret vibration analysis, train scheduling, train availability and process mining.

On-board customer facilities

Solutions using new technologies in pipeline cleaning, train door repairing and maintenance, and implementation of micro-HVAC unit.

Sensor solutions

Solutions that use sensors in tunnels, trains and machine monitoring.

Documentation solutions

Solutions which facilitate and automate the documentation process of technical train paperwork, norms conformity checks and construction.

Workflow support

Solutions that manage and track inventory, recognize items through scanning technologies, and platforms to improve process efficiency.

Process automation

Solutions which provide automated testing of software and hardware.

Open

Any technology implemented elsewhere in mobility, infrastructure, construction planning and safety, energy-saving, maintenance, etc.

WHATS IN IT FOR YOU

  • 3 month (part-time) program with live-testing within DB environment (to achieve a PoC)

  • 25.000€, non equity

  • Coworking space in Berlin

  • Mentoring with DB top level management and external experts

  • Coaching sessions

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA

Your solution should…

  • Have an MVP in place and further

  • Occasionally be available in Berlin to work on the PoC with Deutsche Bahn

SELECTION DAY


Selected startups will be invited to pitches and workshops to match them up with use case departments- jury will make a decision on the winners.
FEBRUARY 17TH

START OF 100-DAY PoC PROGRAM


Work in a 3-month program with Deutsche Bahn: live-testing of your solution to achieve a PoC and expert coaching by Deutsche Bahn professionals.
