Get in the Ring and Deutsche Bahn are looking for innovative solutions that can improve customer experience within regional traffic by analyzing customers’ behavior, and providing new mobility solutions to design and operate the transport networks of the future.
The DB Group is one of the world’s leading mobility and logistics companies, transporting 4700 million passenger a year. DB Group has a mission to drive progress and shape the future.
Improving quality and competitiveness, especially in DB’s core business – the integrated rail system – is one of the most pressing challenges faced. Therefore, DB is aiming to establish a new culture of quality with a clear focus on customers by building digital expertise and improving their performance. The startup program of DB mindbox helps to identify promising startups and test their ideas together with the DB business units.
We are looking for startups and scaleups that want to collaborate with Deutsche Bahn to make their integrated rail system future proof, by understanding the end consumer and improving their customer experience with better information, and by offering new mobility models. We are looking for solutions in the following areas:
Solutions related to interconnected mobility services for last-mile travel (sharing services), AR technology to guide passengers through rail stations, or routing technology for passengers in case of a disruption.
Solutions to understand customers' and DB’s processes better in order to improve internal and external information flows. Relevant technologies could include video monitoring, RPA, scheduling tools, big data analysis, and crowd intelligence.
Solutions to simplify processes and improve transparency for the customer, for example, the provision of real-time (engaging) information, or by simplifying the processes for customer interaction.
