Get in the Ring Lisbon - Impact aims at identifying the best Impact startups from Portugal to test and scale their solutions with our partners. We’re looking for the most promising solutions that are able to shape our future and help solve 21st century challenges.
Stamping its passport at five leading European impact cities with six events, the Impact Competition aims to unearth the most promising impact startups and innovations. Selected startups gain invaluable access to the experts in the Get in the Ring and Impact Fest 2020 network. Sometimes, one meeting is all it takes to foster a game-changing collaboration!
Applicants have the chance to test and prove their solutions with partners and be recognized as a leading impact startup on an international stage. Winning solutions will be displayed on our website and communicated across our marketing channels to our global network of investors, corporates and governments.
We focus is on solutions that contribute to solving global challenges in Food, Water and Energy – on a social and humanitarian level – to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The key to accelerating these solutions lies in exposing them to partnership and collaboration opportunities with local and national governments, corporates and NGOs.
How can we meet the growing needs within the limited means of our planet without leaving anyone behind? Impact Competition aims to answer this by putting a spotlight on impact startups to prove their solutions, scale them globally in leading impact cities and strengthen the global impact ecosystem.

“After winning the Global Meetup 2017, we got investors’ attention and gained the recognition we needed to close a $3m fund. Being part of the Get in the Ring community has been hugely beneficial for us.”
