Get in the Ring winners Labfresh secure €250K investment at Dutch Dragons’ Den

May 4 – Last night Labfresh aired with Dragons’ Den on Dutch national television. Their participation secured them an investment of €250K by angel investor Pieter Schoen and fashion entrepreneur Nikkie Plessen. In 2017 Labfresh won Get in the Ring the Netherlands, which got them a ticket to the Get in the Ring global finals in Cascais. In Portugal they got selected, out of 250 winners from all over the world, as one of the 6 global finalists.

Labfresh developed a technology for textiles to create clothes that stay clean and fresh longer. They fight fast fashion by using technology to make a new generation of life-proof menswear. Premium cotton shirts that repel stains and odour.

Labfresh has been founded by the Dutch Lotte Vink and Danish co-founder Kasper Brandi Petersen. Before starting Labfresh Kasper was the founder and CEO of online shopping service Cloakroom, which was acquired in 2017. Labfresh participated in Dragons’ Den for the second time. This time in the Netherlands. Their participation in Dragons’ Den (Løvens Hule) in Denmark in 2018 got them an investment of €80,000 for a 15% stake. Their last investment of €250K puts Labfresh at a valuation of around €1.6M.
