The entrepreneurial community of France came together in Nice for the National Final of France hosted by CEEI Nice Côte d’Azur. The day started with pre-selections and coaching session with the 32 participating startups. Out of all the participating startups, 18 were selected to pitch in the ring, among them 8 lightweight startups, 8 middleweight startups and 2 heavyweight startups. Only one startup from each category will go on to represent France in the Regional Final of Western Europe in London.
The lightweight winner is France Labs, this company is focused on enterprise search. France Labs develops Datafari, an enterprise search solution that allows companies and their employees to find their big data whatever they are, wherever they are, securely. With their pitch the entrepreneur conquered the hearts and brains of the public and jury members.
Belcurves will be the represent France for the middleweight category. Their pitch convinced the champions which includes investors of France, to vote for their innovative idea. Belcurves provides virtual try out services to online clothes retailers, which make it possible to increase engagement and conversion with their online consumers.
In the final round, there was a one-to-one battle between On/Off App and Offshore 5 millions. On/Off was crowned as heavyweight winner of Get in the Ring France. This unique app allows mobile users to instantly add multiple phone numbers on their smartphone and will change the way people are using telephone numbers in the world.
