Everyday we are inspired by the innovative solutions and passionate founders that we meet around the world. It’s these people who give us the drive to ensure every investor, innovator, business leader and governmental body know that solutions to world problems surrounding our environment exist, and we know the people who can create a real impact.

Often, innovation is underestimated. That’s hard to do when you look at Solar Impulse Foundation’ story.

In 2016,  Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg flew 40,000km around the world without using a drop of fuel. How? With a solar-powered airplane.

This historic moment sent a message to the world: clean air technologies exist, and they are more powerful than we ever imagined.

Tackling world challenges with innovation has always been our priority. Take our Clean Air India project  for example, an initiative we launched to address smog in India, home to 15 of the world’s most polluted cities. Alongside our partners, we have now vowed to test 150 clean air solutions with the potential to improve air quality in India and beyond.

It’s this correlation between solving world challenges and investing in innovation that lead us to the Solar Impulse Foundation, and we are thrilled to support them with their latest mission: to find 1000 solutions that improve the quality of life on Earth.

#1000solutions calls for innovators who have solutions that can protect the environment in a profitable way.

This is a chance for innovators to connect with an internationally recognised brand, who have the expertise, leadership and network to scale solutions and increase their impact.

The #1000solutions challenge is restricted to the creme de la creme of innovators.

Founders with solutions that are profitable, sustainable and have socio-economic benefits. To ensure only the most promising innovators are part of the campaign, Solar Impulse have enlisted our support to identify the most relevant solutions from our global community.

But that’s just stage one. It’s our job to take things one step further, and look at the implementation of these solutions through pilot projects and later, scale up opportunities.

This step is absolutely critical. By planning ahead, we are able to encourage world leaders, governmental bodies and the people with the power to make change, to take solutions from startups and scaleups into account – because we have already mapped out their future success.

As you know, we have extensive experience in facilitating pilot projects between large corporate businesses and founders – it’s what we do best.

From Philips, to Fosun and EY; our program for pilot collaboration guides partnerships and supports them toward getting innovation output faster.

Together with Solar Impulse, we aim to gain real commitment to get projects off the ground. All we need to do now is find the most relevant #1000solutions.

Are you an innovator with a fitting solution that could create global impact? If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
