EyeVerify is founded in 2012 by Toby Rush, current CEO of the company. EyeVerify checks your identity through your eye-vein patterns. How does it work? As a user you’ll take a selfie, with which EyeVerify can make an Eyeprint. This Eyeprint is equal to a 50-character password, opening up apps or website on your device.
Why this is so useful? The Eyeprint ID is a software that financial services companies (your bank for example) add to their mobile apps, so you can easily and safely log in without having to remember complex passwords. The company claims that the technology is 99.99% accurate.
Toby Rush won the 2013 edition of the Get in the Ring global competition in Rotterdam. He’s showing to be one of the best, definitely a job well done!
