On November 12, Get in the Ring – Budapest culminated in the final pitch battle between the two most promising startups from Hungary which focus on digitalization and innovative solutions regarding sports and e-sports technology. After intense jury deliberations, Seyu emerged as the winner. The event was organized by Startup Campus, Hiventures and Szerencsejatek Zrt..
What They Do: Seyu develops a platform through which remote fans can get involved in matches and motivate players on the pitch in real-time. Users can take selfies, add motivating messages and post them in a branded frame on all screens in the stadium before and during sports matches.
Why This Matters: With this win, Seyu’s CEO, Tom Vecsernyes earns an invite to the Global Meetup 2021, where he will join the most innovative and brightest changemakers from our Global Network to solve 21st century challenges with unconventional solutions.
