On October 23, Get in the Ring emanated from São Paulo, where after three intense pitch-battles, DigiFarmz emerged as the winner. The event was organized by Grupo Rede+, SEBRAE and Inova+ as part of the largest Latin American entrepreneurship initiative, the CASE+ Startup Summit.
What They Do: DigiFarmz develops a digital platform which comprises biotic and abiotic variables to provide smart recommendations for companies, farmers and tehnicians in the control of soybean rust. Users are thus able to obtain increasing yield with lower cost and minimum environmental impact.
Why This Matters: With this win, DigiFarmz’s CEO, Alexandre Monteiro Chequim earns an invite to the Global Meetup 2021, where he will join the most innovative and brightest changemakers from our Global Network to solve 21st century challenges with unconventional solutions.
