Unknown Group together with Fujitsu, launched the “Smart Factory, Smart Retail Challenge”, for leading scaleups to showcase their innovations and explore collaboration opportunities with Fujitsu. Fujitsu is opening their doors to seek leading scaleups to boost innovations surrounding automation, productivity and efficiency ranging from factories to retail across various Asian countries.

In the past, Fujitsu was a traditional IT company, but in recent years started making leaps in innovation – in part by collaborating with startups. With society evolving, Fujitsu is seeking to pursue leading scaleups to help keep up with the pace of an evolving society where their contribution to digital transformation would solve customer concerns. Fujitsu wants to collaborate with scaleups in various Asian countries, this way they can accelerate innovation. Fujitsu believes that local scaleups will provide effectiveness within their respective region and international scale-ups will bring the most innovative solutions into the Asian market. With potential business matchmaking deals to be made, regional exposure across Asia and investment opportunities, Fujitsu aims to help boost the startup ecosystem in Asia.

Fujitsu is a Japanese multinational IT equipment and services company. Headquartered in Tokyo, Fujitsu is ranked as one of the world’s most admirable companies. Their aim for this challenge is to collaborate with leading scaleups and give them the opportunity to demonstrate their innovative solutions in 11 categories (of Smart Factory and Smart Retail Industries), from energy management and warehouse control, to logistic tracking.
