On the 8th of August the first national final of Get in the Ring started. With an unexpected high volume of participants and a heated battle, Raket.ph is the first national winner of Get in the Ring. He is going to represent his country, the Philippines in the regional final in East Asia. Raket.ph is a directory of Freelancers & Professionals in the Philippines. It follows an on demand model wherein clients and freelancers communicate and arrange deals directly. He competed against 20 selected startups out of the 49 applications. Henry Ong Director of YES Philippines, said it was a really intense pitch competition as each and every participant was eager to win the title and represent their country to a global competition.
