For the alert viewer of our homepage this isn’t any news, but we couldn’t let it go by without making an official announcement. For the International Final of Get in the Ring the best startups in the world are traveling to the place where all the best entrepreneurs come together for the whole week during the Global Entrepreneurship Congress. In short: the International final will take place in Medellín, Colombia! From the 14th until the 17th of March 2016, Medellín will be packed with entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world.

Why Medellin, Colombia?

Colombia has a strong economic performance and is one of the fastest growing countries of the region and as one of the most attractive emerging markets for the foreign investment at the present time. Medellín is becoming one of South America’s hottest new places for start-ups. At the center of the growth is the government-sponsored organization Ruta N, which is an innovation and business center for new companies. But besides its strong public sector involvement, Medellín also has a lot to offer new businesses because of its location. Medellín boasts a mild climate and is relatively small in size. It’s a great physical place to live, there’s a great quality of life, a low cost of living and great sense of inclusion.

Para nuestros seguidores ésta no es ninguna noticia, pero no podíamos dejarla pasar sin hacer un anuncio oficial. Para la final Internacional de ‘Get in the Ring’, las mejores startups del mundo viajarán al lugar donde se reúnen los mejores empresarios durante una semana entera en el Congreso Global de Emprendimiento. En resumen: la final internacional se llevará a cabo en Medellín, ¡Colombia! Desde el 14 hasta el 18 de marzo 2016, Medellín se llenará de emprendedores e innovadores provenientes de todos los países del mundo.
