The biggest event in the Get in the Ring calendar will be held online for the first time ever: Global Meetup 2021 is the culmination of our year-long startup competition with 100+ online events and 25,000 startup applications from 107 countries, with the Global Final Battle livestream on April 14.
Plans were in place for Global Meetup 2021 to be held in Montreal, Canada in collaboration with RJCCQ. In light of the developing situation around COVID-19, Get in the Ring and RJCCQ have collectively taken the decision to replace Montreal as the host city of the Global Meetup 2021.
This year, for the first time ever, Get in the Ring Global Meetup will be held in a digital environment. Selected out of thousands of startups, the two finalists of the Get in the Ring Global startup competition will face off on April 14 on a global pitch battle livestream – with our Ringmaster, Keith Wallace hosting from our studio in The Netherlands and the two finalist startups safely joining from home. To help choose the winner, we will have an intercontinental jury calling in from three continents.
