After intensive pitch battles starring the most promising Dutch and German impact startups, the next stop in the Impact Competition is Get in the Ring Lisbon – Impact, powered by ImpactCity and Unknown Group. In the Final global broadcast, we’ve witnessed a strongly disputed pitch battle showdown between a sustainable organomineral fertilizer from AgriStarBio and a smart IoT lamppost from Omniflow. In the end, Omniflow emerged as the winning Portuguese impact solution. Together with Blue Oasis Technology, the runaway winner of the public voting campaign, the two impact makers advance to the Impact Finals in April 2021, where they will compete against other event winners for a €500,000 convertible loan.

All their units have an IoT system that monitors and control all devices through a dedicated software. They make an impact by avoiding CO2 emissions and expanding digitalization.

Blue Oasis Technology provide ocean recovery and revitalisation solutions by using civil engineering and offshore knowledge building large scalable engineered reef structures. These structures will prevent coastal areas from erosion, stimulate coral and marine growth helping in absorbing carbon, generating oxygen and stimulating biodiversity. Their impact enables reef structures to deliver a variety of revenue generating profitable income streams whilst creating local sustainable economies.
